Historic homes set up in a village-like setting. Some of the homes are open on certain days and during special events. Children tend to find seeing the different old homes near each other quite captivating. Almost "Walnut Grove -esque" (for you "Little House on the Prairie" fans).

Wow! What can I say? This is a historic home, a restaurant, a part of St. Louis' history, and an inn; it just a bit of everything. It is a great visit. Regarding spending the night, well, let's just say that its history may "come to life" when you stay. :P
Restaurant & Murder Mystery Dinner Theater - haven't been here, but I have heard great things!
The mosaics displayed here are known world-wide. Though the building was built around 1907, the mosaics were not finished until 1988! A must see for many who come to St. Louis.
Location of Lewis and Clark Campsite, trading post from early 1800s, military post, factory location - A ton of history at this location! And, you better be in good shape to walk down, the back UP the steps! Beautiful! Must see!
