WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE DISPLAY! YOU HAVE GOT TO GO! Very professionally decorated. When you find it, you might drive right by it! But when you walk through the door, you won't believe this collection of space flight, not just American, but all countries. WOW! There is an hour and a half tape recorded tour. PLENTY TO LEARN! They are expanding after the start of the year; they should be displaying Smithsonian collections once expanded! This is VERY close, like a block, from the Bonne Terre Mine Tours, too. Make a day of this!!!
Greater St. Louis Air and Space Museum (Checking to see if this is still in operation)
This is a great museum in the making. Just on the other side of the river in Cahokia, 5 minutes from Downtown. This museum is a collection of personal items from many MacDonnell Douglas Retirees. Hopefully you will like to visit to support what will be a great museum.
Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum
Expensive, but quite a sight to see.
Challenger Center
Not many cities have a Challenger Center, an idea conceived as a result of the Challenger explosion in January 1986. Expensive, but a unique experience for aspiring astronauts or NASA engineers!!
